Happy Holidays!

It's Christmas Eve and there are big, wet snowflakes falling outside my window. My son is at daycare, my husband and his dog are at my father-in-law's and it is just me and my sweet dog, Rigby, listening to Christmas music on NPR and drinking tea. (OK, Rigby isn't actually drinking tea, but he did eat a cookie.)

It is rare that I am home alone. As much as I love my family, solo time is something I miss on occasion. So, I am going to keep this short and get back to my alone time!

I'll be out of town through the New Year, guiding a trip in Yellowstone for Off The Beaten Path and National Geographic Expeditions. Since there isn't a wireless internet connection in Yellowstone (yet--there are rumblings that there might someday be one--I hope not!) I won't be posting for awhile.

Happy Holidays!

Enjoy some winter scenery.
