I Got A Job!

Well, no more laying around on the couch eating bon bons and tossing grapes into Rigby's mouth. My days of sunbathing by the pool and getting pedicures are over. A leisurely afternoon shopping and watching the soaps is no longer on my agenda. I might even have to cut down on my incessant blogging. I got a job.

Starting next Tuesday I will be a writer/editor for MSU News Service covering the College of Agriculture. The position is 30 hours a week and I should be able to work from home some of the time. I'll be writing for three publications, the website and various other venues.

How will I fit this in with my freelancing commitments, unfinished ski book, Anders, dogs, house and of course, Henry? Oh yeah, and that baby coming in August. I really have no idea, but we will have health insurance and a reliable (albeit small) income. And I did negotiate three weeks off after the little one is born.

So, if you don't hear from me for the next year, you'll know why.
