Happy birthday, Finn!

It's amazing how much Finn looks like Big Henry. Especially in the picture where he (Finn) is about to take a giant bite of cupcake.

Thank you for spelling "skills" with a z. I had no idea you were so cool. Wait, strike that, I've always known you were so cool.

And this is why I haven't taken the big explorer to see a car race yet -- though he regularly begs me to. Ah, little boys!

Yes, Death Camas! Thanks for that, Leif! Funny, cuz Leif was what I wanted to name Finn and Camas was my girls name. Not death Camas, but the other one that was an important food source for so many people.

Jac- I LOVE the double rainbow guy!

Please ask Jen or James if Stockton really is where they invented Stock Car races.

Would love to take the kids out in a canoe or the like. Looks like a lot of fun, especially the eating and getting wet part. Those are big in our world, too.

You have to have a few of those photos (botched family shots or cranky kids) to keep it real!

Love these photos! I realized after our Yosemite trip that I need to include meltdown photos, too, just to be fair. Otherwise it makes it seem like the trip was perfect when in fact it seems like one or the other kid melted down at least once a day! :)

Compared to this attempt at a family photo in Yosemite, yours looks great!
